I think I am simply someone who tries to do her best. My friends and family would say that I am generous, caring and have a good sense of humor. Many of my friends would say that I can be the life of the party; others that I plan a great party and they are looking forward to the next one. My mother would say that I am loving and work hard to please others. My therapist friends would agree and say that they have been working with me on that for years. ? They might also add that I take risks. I said once that I plan for tomorrow but live for today. I should have said that “sometimes” I plan for tomorrow, and I try to live for today. I try to enjoy life, whatever that means at the moment: go to a “G” rated movie, travel on a whim, skinny dip in a lake. (Okay, I’ve never really done this but I think I would). I have come to realize that I am more adventurous than I use to think I was. In fact, skydiving, zip-lining and walking parts of the Appalachian Trail are on my list of things to do in the next couple of months. Yet, I am enjoying my pottery classes. |
