As an introvert, I prefer quiet environments, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to participate in great conversation or have a good time outdoors. I like traveling to new places (when time and money permit) and I have an adventurous spirit. I have a wide array of interests and enjoy learning about people, so I don’t get bored easy with conversation (just nervous on occasion if I’m meeting someone new). I’m a member of several local Meetup groups, and I enjoy hiking and practicing photography at many local MetroParks, so if anything in this profile catches your interest, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I don’t believe that physical attractiveness is the only thing that matters when establishing a relationship. For me, attraction is sparked by intelligence, personality, and wit. A good sense of humor doesn’t hurt either. What I like to do in my free time: go to festivals or local events, meetup for coffee, go for long walks or to the dogpark. (I have a Coonhound named Sol.) I am also a fan of staying in, cooking food, or watching mind-numbing television. I have a number of hobbies, such as studying Japan’s culture, learning about my genealogy, sewing, writing a novel, photography, birding, hiking, horseback riding...yeah, a lot of interests, I know. I’m also interested in traveling to a number of countries someday, including Ireland, Japan, and possibly Spain. What I’m looking for: someone friendly, genuine, and educated, preferably someone who knows how to provide details about himself. I’m suspicious of blank profiles. What I’m not looking for in a significant other: a person looking solely for sex, a person who is shallow, or a person old enough to be my dad. I’m not opposed to someone who is divorced or has kids, but I would like to have kids myself, so if you’re not interested in the potential of more kids, I might not be the right match for you. |
