I one of those rare individuals who is actually an Atlanta native. I studied education, history and anthropology and currently hold a doctoral degree. I have been teaching since 1992 and in subsequent years have taught on every level. These days, I teach exclusively online. I have an interest in science fiction, historical dramas, classic horror (before 1990), and the paranormal. I do a series of podcasts surrounding unexplained mysteries. I have written for television, film and have authored a number of books. I do enjoy watching sports with a nice bourbon and a cigar-- or a nice cup of coffee. I love to cook-- whether in the kitchen or on the grill. My musical tastes include 50s-70s jazz, especially Blue Note and popular music from the 60s-80s. At any given time, I could listening to Wes Montgomery, Marvin Gaye or the Beatles. I enjoy painting as well-- all abstract. I also play the drums and the guitar.
